Plastic Shims and Hex Keys

Plastic shims are small plastic sheets that are thin enough to fit between the door and its frame. The shims can bypass basic locking systems without breaking the doorjamb. Not every locksmith uses plastic shims, but many do. Plastic shims can be used to open locked windows. Hex keys are also known as Allen keys, but they are not exclusively for locksmiths.
